Hi, you recently created album pages, thank you for contributing to LyricWiki.org. However, your pages now are marked as invalid. This is because you forgot to fill in the release year. Furthermore, the date in parentheses behind the album's name should only contain the year, not the month. Maybe you'd like to have a look at the Guideline For Albumpage Names or Guidelines For Page Names in common. Thanks. - Chris 10:56, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Album art

When uploading album art, could you please (1) stick to the naming convention "Artist - Album Title.jpg" and (2) include the {{albumcover}} template in the Summary box? Thanks! — 6×9 (Talk) 09:48, September 18, 2009 (UTC)

A Reminder...

...about LyricWiki:Page Names. Also, Ian Hunter:Colwater High (outtake from the “Ian Hunter” sessions) should probably be located at Ian Hunter:Colwater High (Outtake) to avoid such a lengthy title add-on. (Usually the add-on to differentiate a new version from the original recording should be one, maybe two words.) Then on the Artist & Album page, the complete note (Outtake from the “Ian Hunter” sessions) could be placed after the link. Thanks! Lastly...(that link reminded me)...we also use "straight" apostrophes and quotation marks on the site, as opposed to the curved or slanted types, as are around Ian Hunter in (Outtake from the “Ian Hunter” sessions). Sorry for the nit-picking. The other albums that you added look just fine. It's mostly the "Once Bitten Twice Shy" album with all its notations that is a bit messy. Thanks for listening.  :-]    Kiefer    talk    contribs    admin   20:01, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Album art #2

Again, please add an {{albumcover}} template when uploading album art. — 6×9 (Talk) 14:02, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Album art #3

Once more: the {{albumcover}} template is required for album art. Uncategorised files may get deleted without further notice. — 6×9 (Talk) 14:02, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

Would you finally please put {{AlbumCover}} on your uploads? I think you should know that by now. Thanks, Chris 12:20, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

Hi, PatrixIssy.

Thanks for your remarkable contribution to LW, but please, don't ignore other users remarks and think twice before reverting editions, made by admins - you'd better treat them as a silent and polite prompt to you how things should be done here. You've got enough warnings already, so this time I better silently direct you to LW:Help, saying that United Kingdom can be entered as the country only if the country of origin cannot be established.
Happy editing, - --Senvaikis (talk) 18:50, September 7, 2010 (UTC)
And one more advice: please don't waste your (and our) time, as well as space on artist page, while listing a full artist discography, including all live albums or compilations, even if all their songs are available on studio albums and are listed already. LW is lyrics-, not discography-oriented site. --Senvaikis (talk) 20:47, September 7, 2010 (UTC)

Language Specification

Hi! I discovered that you didn't fill in the "language" in the song footer when you created the Roger Chapman song pages recently. When I look at your other messages on here I can't believe that you just 'forgot' it. So please pay attention and fill it in when you're creating the pages anyway. This saves time for all of us. Thank you! - MusicAddict 16:24, February 10, 2012 (UTC)

And you did it again or more precisely you didn't do it again. This time at Cracker. Please don't forget to put in the language information. Also, don't put non lyrical information into the lyrics as "Immerglück" and instead of "REPEAT CHORUS" write the chorus in there. It's basic stuff you should have learned by now. Next time I will forward this constant misbehaviour to an administrator. - MusicAddict 17:36, March 8, 2012 (UTC)
Not that I think you'd read this but you did it again, this time with Vigilantes Of Love. (Just FYI.) – Tauriel 08:44, June 13, 2012 (UTC)

If you keep going on like that and not responding to messages and warnings, I'm afraid the next block will be permanent. — 6×9 (Talk) 10:39, June 13, 2015 (UTC)

6, I'm not one to speak for Patrix, but maybe he never responds to talk page messages because he's from France? Looking at his talk page, all of these messages are in English. Maybe he only knows French or something. Just my guess. Has he responded to anyone at all in the past? XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)14:39, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
No responses whatsoever. I rather suspect he never even looks at his talk page, else he could at least leave a message in French. — 6×9 (Talk) 17:02, June 17, 2015 (UTC)
Ah, okay, thanks for the info. So if that's the case, he either has problems communicating or simply never checks his talk page, as you've said (or maybe he doesn't know how talk pages work). I would hope his editing quality improves when he returns - unlikely, but we'll have to see. XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)14:10, June 18, 2015 (UTC)

PatrixIssy:hello, so sorry for the mistakes, i never understood how the talk page works! i just saw your communication this morning. is this the good way to talk to you ? What can i do to fix the problems ? I don't know how to sign this message (4 tilde ?)

Hi, Patrick! Nice to finally talk to you!
As for badly titled pages: you can easily avoid typos in pagenames by copying the titles from reliable sources, like Wikipedia or MusicBrainz. Pagenames should also never use typographic apostrophes (as in "Old Man’s Song"), but "straight" ones ("Old Man's Song") – on French keyboards that should be Shift + 4.
When creating song pages, please make sure not to accidentally remove the <lyrics> tags when pasting the lyrics, like you evidently did here. You can easily avoid that by checking whether, after saving it, the page looks "normal": it has a header ("This song is performed by..."), the lyrics and a footer (the "External Links" section).
Finally, yes, you sign by typing ~~~~. — 6×9 (Talk) 13:52, July 6, 2015 (UTC)

OK, I'll try to do my best
