myspace

The myspace parameter in {{ArtistHeader}} just needs the artist ID (the bit after "myspace.com/"), the rest of the URL is added by the template. — 6×9 (Talk) 15:44, September 12, 2009 (UTC)

Capitalization of Type Parameter

Noticed this while working my way through Peter Gabriel's songs. Words in the "type" parameter should usually be in lower case letters (for example, "type=live album" instead of "type=Live Album") to give it the correct English capitalization when it becomes the information at the top of a song page ("appears on the live album Secret World Live (1994)" would be correct, not "appears on the Live Album Secret World Live (1994)"). @Trainman: You are right, but that doesn't mean that parameter type should be removed at all - it just may be lowercased :). --Senvaikis (talk) 06:22, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Songs versioning (live, takes, demos etc.)

Hi, Wyverex.

Nice to watch your solid contribution to LW and growing edit skills. Just wanted to make one note about subj. - if lyrics of sudio and live version of the song doesn't differ, then parenthetic part, pointing to the song version shouldn't be included into page link (e.g. use better "Our Saviour (Live)" instead of "Our Saviour (Live)"). The same should be said about such pseudo-versions of the song, as Paradise Lost:Internal Torment II, which also may be redirected to the original, while their lyrics are identical.
Happy editing, --Senvaikis (talk) 11:18, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

On discographies

Hi, I noticed you added a couple live releases and compilations to the Marillion page. Please note that we don't aim to provide complete discographies; there are already sites like Discogs and MusicBrainz that do an excellent job. Compilations etc. should only be added if they either contain one or more tracks that are otherwise unavailable, or if they are/were hugely successful or are similarly notable. I've seen song pages with several dozen "Additional albums" – it wasn't pretty ;-) — 6×9 (Talk) 20:20, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

Album lists

Hi, please remember to add
<noinclude>[[Category:Album Lists]]</noinclude>
for categorising when creating album lists. Thanks! — 6×9 (Talk) 11:03, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

De Pre Historie

Hi there,

do you ever plan to finish your list? (only 2 out of 90 in 6 years). Please let me know soon, it's marked for deletion.  · Lichtweber talk service  15:11, February 15, 2015 (UTC)

Other Songs

Songs in OS need to be redirected, merely removing them is pointless, you been editing long enough to know. --ES (talk) 09:19, March 23, 2015 (UTC)
