2: How to indicate feat artist in SongHeader. hth --ES (talk) 09:24, January 6, 2018 (UTC)
Hi there, regarding the message you left on a few people's talk pages: the reason you couldn't add the song V(ボルト) was also due to page names. It should be in the form of Artist Name:Song Name (for that song: 遊助:V(ボルト), I think?), whereas when you tried to create that page, you were using just the song name. - OneTwoThreeFall talk 09:34, January 12, 2018 (UTC)

Page Names, Take 2

吉⽥亜⽮, コロムビアゆりかご会:いざ行けソラン >>>吉田亜矢 & コロムビアゆりかご会:いざ行けソラン per Kingnee - Musicbrainz (which can be seen in the SongFooter of the page). --ES (talk) 06:11, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

it can be either or on MusicBrainz
First, please sign your posts with ~~~~ or clicking the sig button in the toolbar.
  1. The important bit (about using the page name as on a ref site: musicbrainz / discogs / iTunes / spotify etc.) is being able to look up the page and provide the link for the song (like the MB link in the footer of the page), so we know where the song came from, and that it is real.
  2. The mere existence of a page here doesn't mean it is real.
  3. Similarly I moved 中村メイコ/みすず児童合唱団:ピピのテーマソング to 中村メイコ, みすず児童合唱団:ピピのテーマソング.
  4. also please note that on both pages the artist was split into the two actual artists of the songs:like here
You can help us by creating pages exactly per ref sites and providing at least one footer link. tia --ES (talk) 06:49, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

Page Names, Take 3, Artist Title

Upon creation of this page in the edit comment you wrote:
(This song is a local hero song however the singer is unknown so therefor I am putting the lyricist and composer who might be the singer but I am unsure about it but here is the website confirming the song is real megaegg.ne.jp/~hiroshimax).
You also created the entry for the song at musicbrainz: Kingnee - Musicbrainz.

  1. I'm afraid the above song, and any other songs that you enter here & @mb needs to have a real artist entered for it, regardless of availability of composer/lyricist. Guessing is not allowed.
  2. Source of songs is to be a release, not a listing on a website that fails to even identify the performing artist.
  3. imho you are adding bad data here @lw, and supporting it with equally bad data @mb.
  4. Songs that are known to be real but with unidentifiable artists are listed as Unknown Artist, example:Unknown Artist:Hymne Des Sapeurs Pompiers - Toujours Présents, with @ minimum a linked video to confirm reality, not a website link in the edit comment.
  • I hope editors of other anime/cartoons do not pick up on your practice... I suggest discussing your practice of guessing @mb community and @ lw Community Portal as well, and for now move all such songs with guessed artists to Unknown Artist. It is best to wait for a release with the songs listed... hth --ES (talk) 04:32, January 27, 2018 (UTC)
This is a Local Hero theme and with that being said these types of songs have released but those releases are only at stage shows and what not but due to it being limited to that chances are they only mention the singer and please note the song only exist on its website and not some other lyrics site as its for the prefecture and what not however I can look for a youtube/niconico link to show that the song is real and does exist --Dragonzeron (talk) 05:40, January 27, 2018 (UTC)
Have you considered the possibility that another editor would come along and make an equally plausible guess that the performer of the song is the voice actor of the cartoon, or a famous JP artist who sounds like that heard on Local Hero?
They can take your approach and edit a new guessed artist here and @mb.

Block, Page Names

I dont see what I did wrong was it the space in between names or what I cant tell cause its all in Japanese and besides in Japanese there is no spacing so therefor it makes it difficult to understand at times--Dragonzeron (talk) 03:37, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

I highly recommend studying our documentation. --ES (talk) 03:41, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

The thing is I tried I dont see anything I did wrong could you tell me where I messed up and what not exactly so I can try not to do it cause I dont see any issues all I was doing was just basing it off of the other articles I saw --Dragonzeron (talk) 03:46, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Cause if I do not know what I am messing up on exactly how am I supposed to improve--Dragonzeron (talk) 04:12, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

First: all the song pages you created here, whose entry at musicbrainz is your creation, whose reference is not a recording (meaning: a physical recording medium of which you do not own or, you can not find a recording to be linked on the song page)... Please insert a {{deletion}} on such pages, when your block expires.
Spaces & Capitalization Please study LW:PN.
You are obviously unaware of our editing policies, that is the whole point of the block and referring you to our documentation.
a)Proper delimiter between artist titles in page names, b) no spaces before or after ":" in page names
Those are basic rules of our editing. Creating misnamed entries at musicbrainz and then bringing them over here is not a good practice.
Entries you created mb: Kingnee - Musicbrainz: So at mb you refer to lw and a page with lyrics at another site (creators of the show?) then here @lw you refer to mb.... Where is the recording? You just created a bunch of circular refs and two of them are text lyric pages... Does that seem ok to you?
musicbrains is not a site to document the existence of lyrics on some site (lw, cartoon websites etc.). mb is a site for documenting recordings: existence of lyrics anywhere does not validate existence of a recording
Please refrain from creating pages whose mb ref is your creation and No releases found which feature this recording.
Song pages you created @lw whose artist link is red: Such songs require a proper artist page with valid external links to verify their existence. Please take time to create valid artist pages for such artist-less songs.
And last, you may wish to review your contributions Special:Contributions/Dragonzeron and check each edit that was applied after your editions to understand why.
This block is only a warning, after multiple earlier notes above. --ES (talk) 04:39, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
I do not know how to add albums on here eispecially the various artist albums cause in japan they release those all the times and therefor it makes it harder however if you allow Japanese lyric/auction sites to confirm they exist that will help A lot cause all the releases I do on music brainz is from Japanese sites--Dragonzeron (talk) 05:04, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
I did not say anything about albums @lw. Do you read your talk page?!--ES (talk) 05:14, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Your asking me to confirm that these recordings exist and what not I confirm them on Musicbrainz by putting them in albums or linking websites that have the Lyrics/wiki as well as add the work to the recording which I try to get as many Lyric sites on there as well as other info to confirm that the lyrics exist however due to the whitelist being very small and not having the lyric sites that contain the song --Dragonzeron (talk) 05:38, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Very very sorry to inform you: Without a recording, a song doesn't exist, even if a thousand lyric sites have lyrics for such song. This is why we delete song pages: their only reference is on lyric sites. Such bogus entries that you created at musicbrainz and their associated song pages are not apprecited @lw. Please review my remarks above regarding inserting {{Deletion}} on such miscreations, when your block expires tomorrow. --ES (talk) 05:57, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
I have told you the recordings I have added are on the albums and they do exist if you go to the album and what not as well as doing a google search and what not I do admit I added a few so called bogus but your saying I added a lot more then what your saying which is untrue most of the recordings I have added are real and what not would you like me to show youtube videos to show there real as well as well as other areas cause I can if I need to just to convince you --Dragonzeron (talk) 06:15, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

(back dent) Another editor @mb found the recording for Unknown Artist:Go! Go! Hiroshimax!, which I added to the page here, they confirm that they have not found an artist for the song. These are items you need to find, before creating entries @mb. I do not know how many bogus entries you created at mb & here. I asked you to identify them. Making sure your entries are valid are your responsibility. Please stick to what you can do per our policies. hth --ES (talk) 06:34, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Here is another issue that you may need to keep in mind: If a supposed lyric page exists at many sites and a recording by that song title also exists, until there is a recording to verify that the lyrics are indeed that of the recording, with a known artist, you may not bring such lyric pages here: example Spotify 16 Belly Button:Mary & lyrics, Please note that despite having the same artist and song title, the lyrics don't match what is sung on the recording, and we only know that thanks to the recording at spotify, the lyrics are bogus. And the real lyrics don't exist anywhere yet. --ES (talk) 08:21, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
So what happens if the recording is on a album that has not been released digitally nor has been been featured in other albums so could I link a Japanese Store source instead to confirm that this is the recording I am talking about --Dragonzeron (talk) 16:35, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Where did such recording/album come from? A hole in the ground near a volcano in NZ?! Kindly take the time to ask this exact same question @mb as well.--ES (talk) 19:44, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
One I link them on Amazon and I also link them from the other databases that are on on the whitelist because if you actually took the time to look at the album on MB and see the linked websites and what not then you would see that and it would only take you like 3 minutes just to simply look it up and besides it seems your kinda coming off as insulting a bit like you think i am dumb or something but thats just me --Dragonzeron (talk) 19:56, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
Your answer has nothing to do with my reply to your So what happens if the recording is on a album......--ES (talk) 21:10, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
I do not think your reading what I am saying I have told you what happens if they are on diffrent sites that are not the big stores that you think of what happens if they only exist on Vinyl and what not and therefor it makes it hard to find that the actual recordings and what not heck sometimes the recordings can only be prooven they exist on the offical JASRAC Page and what not how am I supposed to search through that and please read my whole statement before you reply I feel you are only looking for key words and not at the whole thing where I clearly state where I get my resources from maybe you would see what I am talking about. I feel like your becoming extremely hostile/frustrated with me and due to it your not listening to my statements ok I am sorry I do not know how to look for other databases but you must understand that the songs I add are in japan and in japan they are very uptight when it comes to songs getting released and what not so please read my statements--Dragonzeron (talk) 21:31, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
(Appreciate it if you properly dent your posts). For our page naming the ultimate ref is an album cover that lists the Song names and artist title of the release. How and where you find such images is your problem. Creating proper records @mb/dg is your issue. Songs you bring here are at issue, not everything you ever created at elsewhere. If it's too hard to find the necessary info then it is better to leave that to other people who have the inclination and resources to do it right.
Studying the documentation @mb and @lw is what is required if you want to create pages that stay. If you guess at an artist title then refer to page full of text and pictures that means you are not aware that such things are mis-creations. Somebody else found the recording, somebody else is yet to find a reliable source for the artist. On top of such muddy practices you state:
Dragonzeron :So what happens if the recording is on a album that has not been released digitally nor has been been featured in other albums so could I link a Japanese Store source instead to confirm that this is the recording I am talking about.
Is that the recording you were talking about? So where did that come from? And how many like that recording have you created pages for here? tia--ES (talk) 22:33, January 28, 2018 (UTC)
ok then if I can show you the album or a video it was featured on its considered a recording and also could I request songs to be added to the site if I dont know how to do it
I'd recommend saving your time for upgrading your written communications skills. I'm out of this thread. --ES (talk) 22:57, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Why did you block me another day I did not do anything to get another day added --Dragonzeron (talk) 02:23, January 29, 2018 (UTC)
