Qualquer coisa, perguntarei a você, pois consigo me expressar melhor em português. Obrigado, Igor! Songsbr (talk) 22:37, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

Tim Moore

Sure, I guess I'll help. XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)22:53, June 9, 2014 (UTC)

Never mind, I can't help you. The audio that you linked me skips a lot. XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)00:45, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

Use XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)01:01, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

No problem at all. Good luck with the rest of his songs, and have a good one Wink XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)01:28, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

No thanks. I'm gonna be busy today, but feel free to ask Lichtweber, 6 times 9, or Hard4me. XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)13:26, June 10, 2014 (UTC)

No problem! I was able to find the lyrics booklet to one side of the record online, so I just typed them all out and submitted them here and to other lyrics sites, so they're on the web now. XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)18:56, June 23, 2014 (UTC)

Olá Songsbr, te dei uma resposta na minha página "User talk". Não sei se você pode ver isso, por isso também te dou um recado aqui --Ignor-the-ant (talk) 16:15, August 27, 2014 (UTC)

Map, and data removal

Hi Songsbr. Please see my editions to MAP, which comes after your edits. If you have any questions, ask me here on your talk page. In general it is highly recommended that if data is removed from a page, a clear explanation is given, in English, in the edit summary, of why stuff was removed. Maybe you just wiped some stuff inadvertently? cheers and happy editing! ES (talk) 21:41, December 6, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry. I really removed, because i was warned that i have to remove the albums with no lyrics. Another reason is that the album called All His Tracks wasn't released by the Map from Canada, but maybe from USA or UK. My intention was only fix that page. Sorry, i will use edit summary next time that I remove informations. Thank your for the message. Songsbr (talk) 21:48, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
I forgot to mention, you did put some good stuff down that I kept. The problem with that page is that I had already marked it with a Violet Star (instead of Green or Bronze) because exactly who was the artist was not clear (back in Feb 2012). And I added and kept what might be wrong tracklist on purpose, until I can figure out who (or how many!) artists are hiding in that page ;) So If you come across artist pages that are marked with Violet star, comment your edits as well as you can. Violet ones are tricky... All that best! ES (talk) 23:16, December 6, 2014 (UTC)
allright =) Thanks for the help. Songsbr (talk) 14:42, December 7, 2014 (UTC)

Obrigado :-) --ES (talk) 18:37, October 4, 2015 (UTC)

No problem. xD Songsbr (talk) 19:27, October 4, 2015 (UTC)
For edit warring with a bot? I explained why it keeps adding the songs; what's your excuse for still reverting its edits? — 6×9 (Talk) 06:56, October 5, 2015 (UTC)
The war to end all wars has ended --ES (talk) 19:09, October 5, 2015 (UTC)
sorry but what can i do.. this bot is wrong, those songs don't belong to that page, i have to revert his editions, i don't wanna do war i only trying to help. Songsbr (talk) 19:51, October 5, 2015 (UTC)
Thx, Echo! @Songsbr: Reverting once is acceptable; reverting twice is edit warring. Next time, notify an admin instead. — 6×9 (Talk) 09:43, October 6, 2015 (UTC)
My fault. I noticed everytime br reverted and did nothing about it. --ES (talk) 10:17, October 6, 2015 (UTC)

Luca CA

Hi bro, thx 4 fixing Luca CA. I was going to do it but you were faster :)  · Lichtweber talk service  20:02, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

Hi. No problem. I'm glad to be able to help. Songsbr (talk) 20:13, November 21, 2015 (UTC)

Songsbr (talk) 22:20, January 2, 2016 (UTC)
[edit conflict] What about English and Jamaican English? German and Austrian German? If difference is sufficient, different dialects are allowed. - Patzilla777 (talk - contributions) 22:23, January 2, 2016 (UTC)

You twice changed the years active for Cashmere (BR), from what source? whenever changing meta data, please make sure you give a ref in edit comments, I can go change it to 1980 to 2000... then what? --ES (talk) 22:17, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

I try to find some info about this group, when they started, when they ended, but no sucess. So I added the year that they release they first recording (was in 1990 with the song "Melô Do Dá Dá Dá ") and the last recording (the album "segura") but yesterday I discover that in 1996 they release a song called "volta paixão" in the LP master rio vol ii, that's why i changed the year. Songsbr (talk) 22:22, March 26, 2016 (UTC).
From what "Source"? --ES (talk) 22:25, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
A friend who have the LP. Songsbr (talk) 22:27, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
(Is somebody else using your account??!!) That is not a public source and it is unverifiable. Not allowed. And please note that this applies to All edits by yourself and everybody else. If source is not public and verifiable, it is bogus. --ES (talk) 22:30, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
Also there's a youtube video of a show they made in February 10, 1996 singing the song Songsbr (talk) 22:31, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
dg trumps yt. YT is unreliable even for song & artist titles, we have 100's of songs only available at yt that do not belong to the named artist, but that is what YT poster claims.--ES (talk) 22:33, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
OK. If someone add the lp to discogs then i will change the year adding the source to check. Songsbr (talk) 22:35, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
DG was my source for years active (based on the release years listed). If you are their greatest fan start a fan page and even there you will be expected by other fans to give refs for what you post there.
You will notice at wikipedia everybody is noted as active until they pass away, what we mean by active is active recording. Not active alive, or active because they showed up at the local bar for a hoot & holler. Wink--ES (talk) 22:40, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
Nice informations. There's a lot of freestyle artists that I edied who released an album in 90s and not released new songs since then but still do shows. I tought this mean they're still actives. Nice to know. You asked if someone is using my account, no, it's me, after all this time I still make mistakes. I assume. Feel free to fix my mistakes and warn me if is needed. I will be careful in my edits. Songsbr (talk) 22:45, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

(Undenting) If source is anything but those that we have footer links for, then it must be noted in edit comments otherwise other freestyle! editors will come and wipe the edit equally unreliably. And I have heard the source is in private hands enough times already. A good habit to get into is getting things done right off the bat. If artist pages are too complicated and convoluted, recall that those are for admin organizing purposes (as well as albums). Lyrics is where we need human input from editors. cheers --ES (talk) 22:54, March 26, 2016 (UTC)

OMG what's a Redundant studio album?

A Studio albums may be redundant if:

  1. contains no blue links
  2. All it's blue links are also available on other listed albums. hth. --ES (talk) 18:42, February 19, 2017 (UTC)

Tim Moore

Hi again. I was wondering if you could perhaps give me an MP3 of the Tim Moore song "Anything and Everything". I wanted to help fix its lyrics as you only posted partial lyrics, but I can't find the song anywhere online. Thanks :) XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)21:02, July 5, 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Yes, I can. Thank you for your help! I don't know any good site to upload, so I choose this one:
If you know a better site please tell me. Songsbr (talk) 23:28, July 5, 2017 (UTC)
Or here if you have a facebook: Minhateca Songsbr (talk) 00:56, July 6, 2017 (UTC)
Thanks very much! I fixed that for you and finished transcribing the Behind the Eyes album Smile XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)16:17, July 6, 2017 (UTC)
Nice! I was waiting to see the lyrics of Lay Down a Line to Me. Great job. Songsbr (talk) 01:58, July 7, 2017 (UTC)

Unknown songs

Regarding your question on Senvaikis' page User_talk:Senvaikis#Unknown_songs, If I am not mistaken the convention is to use the {{RealityCheck}} template in this instance (see Ainslie Henderson:Let Me Kiss You! for an example). it is not an immediate solution to cleaning up the page though as the process allows for a year before deleting the song page. Senvaikis may have a different take on the matter... DesPhagues (talk) 07:42, July 18, 2017 (UTC)

I didn't know about this template. Already save here so I can use next time. Thank you. Songsbr (talk) 14:38, July 18, 2017 (UTC)
No problem, i see that EchoSierra and Senvaikis solved the problem by deleting the pages for you immediately anyway, just as EchoSierra deleled my example page for me. DesPhagues (talk) 15:20, July 18, 2017 (UTC)

KS --ES (talk) 23:10, July 24, 2017 (UTC)

Oh =/ Understand now. I know some songs of this band, I really like his voice 'cause it's different. Thanks for warning me, sad. Songsbr (talk) 00:59, July 25, 2017 (UTC)

The Weather Girls

Hey, I just cleaned up your transcription of Hungry for Love. Just as a general rule of thumb, it's best not to submit your transcriptions until they're done - at least try to finish the song to your best ability. I noticed you just typed what was on the lyric sheet and nothing more, and only included different variations of the chorus later on without typing the whole chorus repeat. So, there was a lot of stuff missing. Anyway, keep up the good work! Smile XxTimberlakexx (talk) (contribs)03:05, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

Page Names

In this section: LW:PN#Non-Latin_Character_Sets. Currently existing "Native (Roman)" pages are against policy and need to be moved. --ES (talk) 18:38, April 16, 2018 (UTC)

OK. Thanks. Songsbr (talk) 02:00, April 17, 2018 (UTC)

External Links for Non Album tracks

Please see Help:Contents/Editing/Formatting/Artists#Compilations_and_Soundtracks.

  • Possible link external templates are {{MB}}, {{Dog}}, {{IT}}, {{SP}}, etc. etc.
  • Black text Some release (yyyy) is not acceptable. --ES (talk) 20:14, June 15, 2018 (UTC)
OK. Now I edited again. See if now is acceptable. Songsbr (talk) 20:53, June 15, 2018 (UTC)
Thank you. I have ancient edits of my own with the same problem! ;-) --ES (talk) 21:00, June 15, 2018 (UTC)

Danuta Lato

Why did you delete her last name without even bothering to give a reason? This is how she's known in multilingual Wikipedia entries, Discogs, MusicBrainz, etc. Can you please undo it? Thanks! 10:19, July 7, 2018 (UTC)

'Cause in her discography her name in LP's, CD's appear only as Danuta. Maybe Lato is a name she used in her films. Just look at the covers in Discogs. Songsbr (talk) 20:07, July 7, 2018 (UTC)

Less "perpetual" red links --ES (talk) 17:28, July 8, 2018 (UTC)

For what I know "Songs on singles" is for releases that were released only as single, not to avoid red links. Can't find nothing saying I can't create an album page just because have one blue song. And tomorrow I will add the lyrics for the track "I Need a Million" now I have to create all the album again. Songsbr (talk) 17:38, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
Any song that can be listed as SoS/SoCS without adding an album full of red links (which presumably, you created to "Fill" to begin with) can just remain in a non album listing. External links {{Dog}} etc. were created to avoid making such albums. --ES (talk) 17:58, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
In "Editing/Formatting/Artists" says "all officially-released studio albums containing at least one blue song" and also says "Do not create pages for the following:, EPs, live albums or single-artist compilations only containing songs already included on another album by this artist, or only containing a single song not included on any other album by this artist, unless they are highly noteworthy (e.g. platinum-selling)" This song was released in an album and isn't an exclusive single. Where do you find this information about red links? Otherwise this is just an opinion based in nothing. Songsbr (talk) 18:06, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
The documentation does not say "An album must be created for every song". If the option is available to list a song with a minimum of red links, that is preferable.
  • If you wish to make albums, check out Wanted Pages where albums can be made that have many songs (present @lw) to go with them.
  • The red links issue is an admin concern: We have nearly 30,000 stub pages, creating 30,000 album pages withe one song each is not where we are aiming to go. --ES (talk) 18:48, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
Where's the links? Still just an opinion. Songsbr (talk) 18:51, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
I asked to Senvaikis about red links 'cause I really don't understand your answer. Songsbr (talk) 19:28, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
As the subject line says: Tip --ES (talk) 19:30, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
After this thing is over please avoid editing my talk page. If you wanna delete my stuff just do it and if I have a problem with that I will go to your talk page just ask why. Songsbr (talk) 19:33, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
I actually avoided editing your talk page earlier, by adding a comment to an artist page with the same issue (album page full of red links created for one song that was a also a single release), Sam Kinison. I thought that was a subtle enough hint, dude...., you proved me wrong. --ES (talk) 20:17, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
Dude, just stop it, please... Songsbr (talk) 19:58, July 8, 2018 (UTC)
You edited your message. So I will reply that. In that case, as Sam Kinison is a comedian I tought you deleted the album cause the other tracks weren't songs, just a stand up. In that case I agree in deleting the album. But the others I don't. Songsbr (talk) 20:28, July 8, 2018 (UTC)

Deprecated js in SV namespace

Hi, SB,

just wanted to inform you, that since today embedded audioplayer support is moved from Senvaikis' to MediaWiki's namespace and now it may be easily managed by your script prefs (menu "My Tools/Script preferences"), so you may remove the call to "User:Senvaikis/AudioPlayer-js" from your common.js.
Btw, the same should be said about other deprecated js ('User:Senvaikis/MBW-js', 'User:Senvaikis/Wikifyer-js', 'User:Senvaikis/SpWikifyer-js' ...)
regards,--Senvaikis (talk) 21:14, August 3, 2018 (UTC)
Hello. It's been a long time since I created that page, so I don't remember how edit correctly. I removed now. I hope I did right, Thank you. Songsbr (talk) 22:36, August 3, 2018 (UTC)
