Scream Thy Last Scream
Scream thy last scream, old woman with a casket
Blam-blam your pointers, point your pointers
Waddle with apples to crunchy Mrs. Stores
She'll be scrubbing bubbles on all fours
Scream thy last scream, old woman with a casket

Fling your arms madly, old lady with a daughter
Flat tops of houses, mouses, houses
Fiddle and diddle, a sitting fat cat
Watching the telly till all hours, telly time
Fling your arms madly, old lady with a daughter

(Oh, sock it to me...)

Scream thy last scream, old woman with a casket
Blam-blam your pointers, point your pointers
Waddle with apples to crunchy Mrs. Stores
She'll be scrubbing bubbles on all fours
Scream thy last scream, old woman with a casket

Notes

  • "Scream Thy Last Scream" was the proposed, but abandoned, follow-up single to "See Emily Play".
  • It is also referred to as "Old Woman in a Casket" or "Scream Thy Last Scream (Old Woman with a Casket)".
  • This song is notable for the fact that drummer Nick Mason sung the lead vocal. The only other Pink Floyd songs which he performed the vocals are "Corporal Clegg" and "Merry Xmas Song" (also unreleased). He also provided vocalisations and spoken parts for "One of These Days", "Signs of Life", and "Learning to Fly".
