General Information

Songs should be provided in their original language and script. Songs that have been released in multiple languages should have each release as a separate page and should be linked to each other.

Article Titles

  • Songs released in multiple languages should have separate pages for each release.
  • If the song was released simultaneously in multiple languages, prefer the artist's primary language.
  • If any release in a different language has got the same title like the release in the artist's primary language, the release's English name of the release-language has to be added in round brackes behind the title. For example: Disney:Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo and Disney:Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo (Swedish).

Helper Templates

This should be placed at the top of the page directly above the <lyrics>-Tags and the template TranslatedSong if it is used on the page. All the pages should have the same ordering of languages in the template.

The syntax is:

{{MultipleLanguages
|artist = David Bowie
|"Heroes"/en
|Helden/de
|Héros/fr
|"Heroes"/"Helden"/English-German}}
produces

Template:MultipleLanguages
